Welcome to Young's Homepage

About

Hi, I'm MO Yang! You can also call me Young, a homophone of my Chinese name. I'm a second-year PG student at City University of Hong Kong. Before that, I received my B.Eng. from Wuhan University in 2024.

I'm broadly interested in building capable, reliable, and safe AI systems. My current research focuses on Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and AI Safety — and more broadly, responsibly pushing the boundary of what intelligent systems can do.

I'm actively seeking PhD opportunities starting in 2027, with a focus on building reliable and safe AI systems — particularly around LLMs, AI agents, and their alignment with human values. If you're looking for a motivated student who enjoys tackling hard, open-ended problems at the frontier of AI, I'd love to chat!

If you have any collaboration ideas, feel free to drop me an email!
